Getting There

Movement On The Mountain takes place in Western Pennsylvania — exact venue details for 2027 are coming soon. In the meantime, here are the two main routes from Pittsburgh heading toward the Tionesta, PA area. Full directions with confirmed venue address will be posted as soon as the 2027 location is announced.

Route 1 — Interstate (Recommended)

Via I-376 E & I-80 E — Approx. 90 min from Pittsburgh

  1. Head east on I-376 E from Grant St, Pittsburgh
  2. Merge onto I-80 E and continue for approximately 60 miles
  3. Take Exit 60A onto PA-66 N toward Shippenville
  4. Continue approximately 10 miles, then turn left onto PA-36 N
  5. Follow PA-36 N for approximately 15 miles into Tionesta, PA

Route 2 — Scenic North Route

Via PA-8 N — Approx. 90–100 min from Pittsburgh

  1. Head north from Pittsburgh on PA-8 N / McKnight Rd
  2. Continue north on PA-8 N for approximately 60 miles
  3. Arrive in Tionesta, PA — one of the most scenic drives in Western PA

Camping is included with all Weekend Pass purchases at Movement On The Mountain Music Festival. There is no separate camping ticket to buy — your festival pass gets you on-site camping for the full weekend. Arrive, set up, and stay as long as the festival runs.

Dog Policy

Dogs are welcome at Movement On The Mountain Music Festival with a Dog Pass. Here is everything you need to know before bringing your pup.

Dog Pass Requirements

  • Dog Pass required per dog — $20 per dog at checkout
  • Dogs must be leashed at all times on festival grounds
  • Current vaccination proof required at the gate upon entry
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs at all times
  • Bring water, food, and a shaded resting spot for your dog

Festival Rules

Movement On The Mountain is a community-first festival. These rules exist to protect everyone on site — please read them before you arrive.

No illegal substances on festival grounds.

Dogs require a Dog Pass and must be leashed at all times.

You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog.

All trash must be carried to the on-site dumpster — pack it out.

Fires in above-ground fire pits only. No ground fires permitted.

No admittance between 1:00 AM and 7:00 AM.

Ages 17 and under are FREE with a parent or guardian.

No glass bottles permitted anywhere on the festival grounds.

All entrants must sign a liability waiver to enter the grounds.

Failure to follow the rules is grounds for ejection without refund.
